The numbers in detail
In Piedmont, no new positive cases were observed in wild boars. The regional total remains at 799 cases. In Liguria, twelve new positive cases were detected in wild boars: eight in the province of Genoa, five in Castiglione Chivarese (nine in total), and three in Rapallo (nine); four in the province of La Spezia, one in Calice al Cornoviglio (the second case), and three in Sesta Godano (seven). The regional total rises to 1.190 cases.
Municipalities involved
The number of municipalities where at least one positive case of African Swine Fever has been observed remains unchanged at 190, another statistical data that can be used to better understand the evolution of the disease.
