From 25 to 27 July, a great entrepreneur of the Italian sport and civil arms industry will be remembered at the shooting range in Rimini. Prize money of 7.600 euros, free registration for the Junior category and with only the cost of the court service for the Lady category. Three days of competitions but also of intense memory will be those of the first “Nerio Cicotti” Memorial, which will take place together with the CNCN Shooting Grand Prix starting on Thursday 25 July at 8.30 and ending on Saturday 27 at the Rimini shooting range.
The organizers thus wanted to combine the competitive moment of the initiative of the National Hunting and Nature Committee, which from next year will be itinerant, with that linked to an important figure for the Italian sporting and civil gun industry such as Nerio Cicotti, who suddenly passed away in April. in 2012. Cicotti played Baschieri & Pellagri having always been part of it, with over 40 years of personal career, to which must be added the over 30 of his father, also in B&P. From the apprenticeship to the role of CEO, Cicotti had become the number one company in Marano di Castenaso where he was loved and esteemed, but being the representative of a historic company in the best of Italy, founded in 1885, he was also appreciated in the entire manufacturing sector for his professional and human skills.
Returning to the actual race, the CNCN has set the total prize money at 7.600 euros (6.400 in money and 1.200 in objects), the race will take place in the Olympic pit mode with 75 sliding targets and will start at 8.30. To entice even the youngest, the Junior category will be able to take advantage of the free participation in the race, for the Lady category instead the cost required is only that of the field service while for the other male groups the costs are variable and please refer to the attached flyer for the specifications. The competition will take place on three fields but it is still advisable to book early, the awards will be individual and for the best ranked team on the 227 targets (three shooters).
The finals of the CNCN Grand Prix will take place on Saturday 27 July, four at the same time, one per category: Excellence (one-shot final), First, Second and Third from which the 4 winners will come out (the 6 shooters of their respective categories will access the finals with the best score on 75 targets). The final of the Memorial “Nerio Cicotti”, with 25 targets with the exclusive use of B&P ammunition, will take place among the first 6 shooters who will have achieved the best scores on the 75 targets in the General classification. Sponsors of the event are the prestigious Eberhard & Co. and the Baschieri & Pellagri companies, of course, but also Adinolfi, Benelli, Beretta, Bornaghi, Cheddite, Clever, Fiocchi Munizioni, Nobel Sport Italia and RC Eximport.
