Dizzying numbers
Record numbers of exhibitors and visitors, for a first edition capable of astonishing. An incredible third day of the fair, thanks to a constant and numerous audience, launches EOS show 2026 The historic record of 40 visitors. This is the same number reached last year, when fishing was also featured in addition to hunting, shooting, and outdoor activities. The record number of 300 exhibitors representing 700 brands had already been reached before the fair opened two days ago. The uniformity of the setting undoubtedly favored a large participation of enthusiasts, who strolled through Halls 5 and 6 to visit the exhibition stands, then practiced shopping in Hall 3 and shooting just outside the fair grounds on the 13 clay pigeon shooting ranges and the 14 at the Parma TSN. From March 28th to 30th, 60 rounds were fired, and nearly 700 performances were recorded in the nearby National Shooting Range section.
We think about the future
Yesterday, most were already talking about a successful gamble, but today they're thinking about the future. The move to Fiere di Parma was undoubtedly a step forward in many respects, starting with logistics, according to exhibitors who generally intend to focus their future trade fair investments in Parma to establish EOS Show as a leading event in Europe. The leading event for the hunting, shooting, and outdoor sectors, held at Fiere di Parma, demonstrated international ambitions, attracting 300 international operators, including buyers, distributors, and journalists from over 40 countries. This result was made possible by the support of the Italian Trade Agency (ICE) and the collaboration of all the leading exhibiting companies. Direct exhibitors from abroad are also on the rise: the market, numbers, following, and organization of EOS Show are felt well beyond national borders. In fact, most of the major companies present export 90% of their production.
Parma Fairs
Antonio Cellie, CEO of Fiere di Parma, summarizes this first edition as follows: "An extraordinary organizational experience, the success of which depended on the joint committee, composed of Fiere di Parma and the associations, which harmoniously dictated all the decisions. I sincerely thank our team, led by Stefano Merigo and his colleagues on the joint committee: Federica Gozza of Baschieri & Pellagri, Alessandro Acerbis of Beretta, Pierangelo Pedersoli and Rino Chiappa, Patrizio Carotta, and our general secretary, Marcella Pedroni. Thanks to everyone's work, we have brought to Parma an event that will annually attract an enthusiastic community to the area and generate revenue, based on the parameters of the Italian Exhibitions and Trade Fairs Association, of approximately €20 million."
