The 53rd edition of the National Bird Fair will take place in Capannoli Valdera, in the province of Pisa, on Sunday 8 September 2013.
The National Bird Fair is back for the 53rd year in Capannoli Valdera, in the province of Pisa, the exhibition-market of the ornithological sector that will be staged on Sunday 8 September at Villa Baciocchi. This is the most important event of the sector in Tuscany and other regions. As part of the event, the song thrush will be proclaimed national champion among the best specimens competing in the categories bottaccio, sassello, cesena, blackbird, finch, sparrow and lark from all over Italy. Exhibits include pigeons, chickens and ornamental ducks. The event will offer initiatives and exhibitions able to satisfy every type of public as well as the exhibition of typical local products. The evening will be enlivened by music and shows. In “Villa Baciocchi” on the ground floor it will be possible to visit the permanent Zoological Museum while on the first floor it will be possible to visit the Archaeological Documentation Center. In Piazza della Repubblica of Capannoli Valdera you can attend the exhibition of vintage tractors. In addition, the Free Art Cultural Association invites you to the Photographic Expo in the Noble Hall of Villa Baciocchi from 7 to 22 September.

At the Municipal Theater - Valdera Collectors Exhibition;
13:00 pm at the “da Carlo” restaurant lunch offered to the intervening Authorities;
17 pm in Piazza Del Popolo: “Elena Emozioni Italiane” Orchestra Show and cultural comedy show in VERNACOLO PISANO.
