A new appointment
The city of Ceresole d'Alba, in the province of Cuneo, is also famous for a prized fish – tench – but its game is no less. A clear example of this is the game featured in the eighth edition of the Tenuta Bonicelli Trophy which takes place in the Piedmontese town. Saturday 7 September will represent an important stage of the 2024 edition, given that it is the date chosen for the fourth test. More precisely, it is a test for pointing dogs on natural game and without shooting.
The 4 categories in competition
There will be four categories competing, namely “English Hunters”, “English Elite”, “Continental Hunters” and “Continental Elite”. The meeting is scheduled for 6:00 on the same 7th September at the hunting lodge of the Ceresole d'Alba agritourism hunting company in Via Madonna dei Prati 37. The actual test will then start at 7:00 (the jury is still to be designated) with the possibility of having lunch on site upon reservation. Prizes will be awarded to the first three classified in each category, with the prize money being proportionally reduced if ten registrations are not reached for each of them.
Special awards
It was also decided to reserve a special prize for the best youngster, while the Tenuta Bonicelli Trophy will be awarded to the subject with the highest score determined by the sum of the points obtained in the various tests of the circuit.
