An important step for the region
The EPS will work across the region to promote sustainable wildlife and hunting management, provide technical and legal support to hunting companies and game production centers, and foster the development of structured supply chains for the valorization of game meat. "The creation of EPS Campania represents an important step in strengthening the link between agriculture, wildlife management, and land conservation, placing sustainability and professionalism at the center," emphasizes Fabrizio Marzano, President of Confagricoltura Campania.
A common sense collaboration
On behalf of the national association, Vice President Serafino Nero stated: "The new Campania office can be an example of a true collaboration based on common sense, experience, and responsibility between the agricultural world and wildlife managers." The new regional president, Gennaro Barra, added: "Our commitment will be widespread. The Campania region has ideal agro-forestry and pastoral characteristics for developing game production centers, especially for species at risk of extinction without adequate support. We want to promote new wildlife and hunting businesses and tourism initiatives, focusing on experiential tourism that combines hunting, quality food, and educational and training activities dedicated to biodiversity, to revitalize inland areas and contribute to the recovery of endangered species." The new regional office is part of the national network of EPS and Confagricoltura, strengthening the coordination of activities and support for businesses in the sector (source: Confagricoltura).
