ISPRA's opinion
Following the acquisition of the favorable opinion of ISPRA, the resolution defining the periods and hours of the activities of the Wild boar selection hunting (Sus scrofa) for the period February 2025-January 2026 and the Abruzzo ATC adjustment plans reported below have been approved with prescriptions.
The main details
Therefore, in the territory of the same ATCs, selective hunting will be permitted:
From 1 February 2025 to 31 January 2026;
From one hour before sunrise until midnight, using appropriate vision equipment (night vision goggles, e.g. light intensifiers, infrared thermography) in the absence of light, in order to maximise the efficiency and selectivity of the sampling and ensure shooting safety;
to all age groups of both sexes, without interruption throughout the aforementioned period.
