"The Regional Council ofAbruzzo has given the green light to the Hunting Calendar for the 2025/2026 season, which establishes the beginning of hunting activity on September 157st and the conclusion at the end of January” – announced the vice president and regional councilor for Agriculture, Hunting and Fishing, Emanuele Imprudente. “This year we had set ourselves the goal of approving the hunting calendar by the date set by law 92/15, that is, June XNUMXth – declares Imprudente – thus avoiding the uncertainties linked to possible administrative appeals and ensuring certainty for operators in the sector”.
Maximum attention to environmental protection
“This calendar, like that of previous years – continues Vice President Imprudente – has been drawn up with the utmost attention to environmental protection and the delicate balance of the habitats of some areas of our territory, and is the result of participation and the search for maximum sharing with all stakeholders, involved during the meetings of the relevant conferences”.
Early openings
“The early openings – explains the vice president – were granted only for the species indicated by ISPRA (magpie, crow, jay and wood pigeon), while for the ordinary collection we decided to confirm the line followed in recent years, which allowed Abruzzo, contrary to almost all other Regions, not to see the calendar challenged and suspended”. The 4 months of wild boar collection in the permitted areas and dog training from 1 September were confirmed.
