Health issues but not only
The Regional Council of Tuscany has approved a draft agreement with the Department of Veterinary Sciences at the University of Pisa and the national FIdC (Italian Hunting Federation) to initiate scientific research on wild fauna . The agreement aims to develop studies and projects to deepen knowledge on topics of mutual interest, with particular attention to health issues related to the presence of parasites, which can impact the conservation status of wildlife and pose risks of disease transmission between wild animals, domestic animals, and humans.
