New legal defeat
A new, important chapter in the story of the derogation of the hunting of finches and starlings in Lombardy. The Council of State has rejected the request for immediate precautionary suspension presented by the animal rights groups that had appealed. The derogation hunting continues, but the legal battle is far from over. The hearing to discuss the precautionary measures has been scheduled for October 30th, when the parties will meet again.
