Flattering budget
The clay pigeon shooting competitions concluded yesterday in Paris and saw Italy close their participation positively, with an individual silver in trap and a splendid gold in the mixed skeet team. Third place in the general medal table for shooting sports which confirms how much our country stands out in these disciplines. Numerous successes have also been recorded in past editions, which have highlighted all the value of the Italian industry in the sporting arms sector. The athletes who used Italian rifles won 18 medals out of 18 in total this year, while "Made in Italy" ammunition recorded 14 victories out of 18. The Italian arms industry boasts a long tradition: from the most structured realities up to the medium-small ones, the "Made in Italy" armourer is appreciated and chosen by athletes from all over the world, confirming a record of excellence. It is significant that, at the Paris 2024 Olympics, 93,2% of specialist trap and skeet shooters used Italian weapons, a figure that further underlines the trust in these brands.
More than a confirmation
“The excellent results obtained by the Italian national team enrich what is already in itself a victory for our country: equipping such a large number of athletes demonstrates how the Italian arms industry is a history of work and dedication recognized and appreciated beyond all borders geographical", declared Giovanni Ghini, President of ANPAM - National Association of Sports and Civilian Weapons and Ammunition Manufacturers "Productive know-how and very high standards of precision are just some of the vectors that have pushed Italian weapons and ammunition towards a success that every four years it finds confirmation on the most prestigious field.”
