The next 30th April the Municipal Theater of Vicenza will host an important hunting-themed convention organized by the Associazione Cacciatori Veneti, Confavi, the Foundation for Rural Culture and the Association for the Defense and Promotion of Rural Culture (ACR). The title of the debate, "The prospects for hunting in Veneto", makes us perfectly understand what we will talk about, in particular it will refer to the methods of hunting in the regional territory over the next five years. There will be four topics to be addressed on this occasion, namely the stalking for hunting use (recently introduced), the regional hunting ground, le hunts notwithstanding and the hunting calendar of Veneto.
The introduction will be entrusted to the regional councilor Sergio Berlato, who is also president of the Third Permanent Council Commission: he has been talked about a lot in recent days, as he has proposed the introduction of the crime of disturbance and harassment of hunting, a possible novelty of the Criminal Code that would punish anyone who is an obstacle or impediment to hunting. It will then be the turn of the three speakers invited to speak. The first will be Robert Ciambetti, president of the Veneto Regional Council, followed by Gianluca Forcolin, number two of the Regional Council, e Joseph Pan, Councilor for Agriculture, Hunting and Fishing.
Among other things, it was decided to invite all the regional councilors and councilors, without forgetting the managers and members of all hunting associations, representatives of agricultural professional organizations and representatives of associations engaged in environmental protection. The topics are very topical, starting with the fixed stalking for hunting purposes discussed in the Region to prepare an ad hoc law. No less important will be the hunting calendar of Veneto, taking into account the controversies that triggered the last one: in fact, we are talking about one of the regions where hunting was closed early after the discussed provision of the Council of Ministers (many controversies have concerned the Cesena).
There will certainly also be room for one of the latest speeches by Federcaccia Veneto, local section that has specifically asked to reintroduce the red partridge in the list of huntable species. Finally, the presence of Councilor Pan will be strategic to investigate the issue of ungulates in the northern region: Pan has been called into question several times with regard to the emergency represented by wild boars, a fact that has been tried to face not only with the slaughter. So in exactly one month there will be several ideas to analyze.
