A text full of inaccuracies
In the last few days we wrote to the editorial staff of "Daily fact" To express our grievances over an article that, commenting on the government's proposed reform of Law 157/92, produced a text riddled with inaccuracies, fabricated news, clichés, and catchphrases. Our position was echoed by many of the major hunting publications. The text published in this newspaper is absolutely comparable to the one written by "Il Fatto Quotidiano" on the subject of Law 157/92.
Parliamentary hearing
Of all our calls for taking a stand on the merits and learning more about the matter before launching a full-scale attack on hunting, only our alleged opposition to reforming hunting regulations has been reported. We have repeatedly criticized various points of the reform proposal currently being debated in parliament, criticizing our objections to turning AFVs into profit-making businesses, to including government-appointed ENCI representatives on ATC management committees, and to the mess with state maritime property. But given that the issues highlighted by Arci Caccia were also expressed by other associations during parliamentary hearings, would the entire hunting world be opposed?
A text that contains errors
Our association considers it its duty to comment, criticize, and suggest changes to a text that contains many errors, some serious, but also some positive aspects and others that, with amendments, could become so. That said, in the article published in Caccia Magazine, which reduces our position to "Maffei once again against the reform of Law 157/92," we recognize only the reference to one of our founding principles: the defense of social, public, and accessible hunting. This stands in contrast to the privatized drift that some agricultural associations claim is occurring with the collusion of a segment of the hunting community, a position of which we are particularly proud.
