New associative structure
The National Council of Arch HuntingThe central topic of the meeting was the launch of the campaign for the 5th Congress. It will begin in February with the municipal and provincial elections, move on to the regional ones, and conclude in September with the election of the new national assembly. The committees will soon begin work on the association's new structure and draft the political hunting proposal for the next five years.
Reform of law 157/92
Beyond these operational aspects, the debate touched on the current hot topics: the amendment to Law 157/92, for example, which continues to raise concerns about much of the proposal, particularly the attack on social hunting, an insurmountable obstacle for Arci Caccia. This was followed by an update on the PSA, which is progressing in Tuscany, while Calabria, fortunately, has once again been declared free of the disease.
Denatured hunting activity
Many councilors raised the issue of the widespread use of night vision devices and thermal imaging cameras, which distort the nature of hunting and, due to poor enforcement, lend themselves to being used for less noble purposes than those permitted. Discussion also focused on the upcoming membership campaign, for which new products are being developed to make the insurance coverage provided by Arci Caccia even more competitive and comprehensive.
