Winning expedition
In Portugal the European Propeller Championship, organized by FITASC, International Federation of Shooting and Hunting Weapons Sports, in Pevidem. The performance of the Italian team led by Technical Commissioner Giuseppe Rodenghi was excellent, returning to Italy with 12 medals: four Continental titles, five silver medals and three bronze medals. In the Open ranking, unfortunately none of the Italians managed to get close to the podium, but in the Men's Francesco Luigi Baldi Pergami Belluzzi of Rome, Antonio Passalacqua of Rodì Milici (ME) and Marco Rodenghi of Roncadelle (BS) put the medal around their necks team silver with a score of 38, surpassed only by the Portuguese, first with 42.
The Italians in the race
The performance of the Italians was decidedly brilliant. In the individual competition the Belgian Sophie Lienard deserved the gold. But only after beating our Emanuela Barillà in the play-off. The Sicilian from Rodì Milici (ME) equaled her opponent with 24 and in the shoot-off she surrendered to her with +4 to +3. For her a beautiful silver medal, accompanied by the bronze one won by Federica De Maria from Capena (RM) with 23. For the two Italians, this time together with Paola Tattini from Valsamoggia (BO) the silver medal also arrived in Teams with 21 behind their Portuguese opponents, first with 22. Moving on to the Junior sector, Francesco Maellaro from Fasano (BR), Francesco Mario Piccolo from Somma Vesuviana (NA) and Davide Rufo from Aprilia (LT) did not reach the individual podium , but they climbed with character on the team one for the silver medal with 23.

The performance of the "overs" was absolutely brilliant. Gianfranco Bosio of Manerbio (BS), Pietro Mancini of Florence and Sebastiano Molinari of San Severino Marche (MC) are the new European Team Champions with 19, as are Aldo Camiciola of Narni (TR), Giuseppe Impallomeni of Siracusa and Andrea Giovanni Marcello of San Dona' di Piave (VE) among the Veterans. Furthermore, Impallomeni with 25 and Camiciola with 24 took the individual silver and bronze respectively. An impressive exploit also by our Masters. In the individual competition Ezio Candiani from Pordenone (PN) became European Champion with 27 and climbed onto the podium in the company of Nicolò Feo from Villabate (PE), bronze medal with 23. The two, in the company of Mauro Andreini from Agliana ( PT), they returned to the podium to also take the Team gold around their necks with a total of 24 (source: FITAV).
