A highly anticipated event
The connection between the town of Bereguardo and hunting began to forge as early as the late Middle Ages. It was in this town in the province of Pavia that the Visconti family of Milan loved hunting, a passion fostered above all by its enviable panoramic position (which is said to have inspired its name). It's no surprise, then, that the Bereguardo Hunting Festival is about to reach an important milestone: 24 editionIt's a long-awaited event, the fruit of the hard work of ordinary hunters, friends, and relatives.
The Castle will be the backdrop
On Sunday, May 31st, the 2026 edition will take place, promising, as always, a spectacular event. At Bereguardo Castle, the Lombardy city's most important monument, the various stages of the program will unfold, including an archery demonstration, a saddle baptism, a dog show, and a dog competition, all of which are detailed in the attached poster.
One gem after another
There will be plenty of opportunities to satisfy your taste buds: the refreshment service will offer traditional dishes such as risotto, salami, and local cured meats, not to mention braised wild boar and polenta, cotechino sausages, and tripe alla Ninin. Last but not least, a highlight of this festival is the 500th anniversary of Beretta, when the "Cacciatori di Bereguardo" association, through the Armeria Lpv, will be offered the opportunity to test-fire an A400 Lite shotgun.
