A non-random date
On the day of its 499th anniversary, the company chooses to look forward. Pietro Beretta Arms Factory and Beretta Industries have announced the start of renovation work on the multipurpose building, a historic structure dating back to 1955 and expanded in 1982, which will be completely transformed into the new Innovation Hub: a place where technology meets humanity and tradition meets the future. The inaugural ceremony, marked by the symbolic signing of the "foundation stone" and the pouring of the first concrete foundation by President and CEO Franco Gussalli Beretta, took place at the entrance on Viale delle Vittorie, in the presence of Carlo Ferlito (CEO and General Manager of Beretta), Emanuela Delpani (Manager of Beretta Industrie), Marco Bassoli (Director of Technologies and R&D), and Giuliano Brunori (Mayor of Gardone Val Trompia).
A symbolic moment that once again ties the company's destiny to its territory and its origins, right next to the Mella River, where it all began in 1526.
A place to work, grow and feel good
The Innovation Hub is designed to be an ideal workplace, a space where innovation, well-being, and sustainability coexist in harmony. The new facility will span three floors with a total floor area of 2.400 square meters, including 1.000 square meters of offices, a 265 square meter multimedia room, and 572 square meters of changing rooms and service areas. It will accommodate 76 workstations, 11 offices, four meeting rooms, and a 210-seat conference room: a modern and functional environment, designed to foster collaboration, concentration, and quality of life. The project focuses on eco-friendly materials, natural lighting, and quiet zones, creating an efficient, aesthetically pleasing, and human-centered space. In keeping with Beretta's long-standing tradition, this redevelopment represents a further step in the company's corporate wellness strategy, aiming to enhance the daily well-being of employees and offer them a workspace that inspires pride and a sense of belonging.
Innovation that combines technology and passion
The new building will house Beretta's future technological research and development activities. The Innovation Hub will be a hub where product, process, and method innovations converge through cutting-edge digital tools, including FEM analysis, advanced simulations, digital twins, and collaborative platforms. The goal is to reduce development times, improve quality and safety, and promote a more integrated approach to innovation. The Hub will also serve as an open laboratory, integrating internal expertise with that of external partners. Collaborations with BRAIN (Brescia Research and Innovation Network), CSMT, key suppliers, and Beretta Holding Group subsidiaries will find a natural meeting point here, where ideas and expertise can merge in new co-design projects.
