From an initial reconstruction it is clear that upon returning from the hunt the two were arranging the hunting equipment and the 42-year-old father would have placed the rifle with the kick on the ground accidentally causing a shot of theweapon that it was still loaded; the shot fired by mistake would have hit the 14-year-old son who was next to his father.
The young man was hit full in the chest, at very close range, by the shot pattern and fell to the ground lifeless. An ambulance and the 118 auto-medical assistance were immediate, but unfortunately there was no possibility of salvation for the boy who was the victim of the accident.
The grandparents and other relatives, all residing in the family business, rushed to the scene of the accident alerted by the ambulance sirens which already suggested that something unpleasant had occurred.
Personnel from the Carabinieri also arrived on the spot and carried out the first checks to clarify the dynamics of the incident and seized the weapon in question; Finally, it is not excluded that a file for manslaughter against the father is opened in the Public Prosecutor's Office.
