Perugia, May 3, 2019. The ninth edition of Hunting Village, the National Exhibition of Hunting, Fishing and Shooting, scheduled for 10, 11 and 12 May center Umbria fairs by Bastia Umbra. The President of the European Parliament will participate in the ribbon cutting, which will be held on Saturday 11 May at 10 am, Antonio Tajani, together with representatives of local institutions. For example, there will be an additional indoor exhibition pavilion and the shooting lines will be 300 meters from the Fair, therefore within walking distance ». Maximum attention to the environment: "Inside Caccia Village - added the organizer - plastic will be banned, bars and restaurants will use only biodegradable material". Castellani recalled the economic impact generated by the Fair, which last year attracted 32 thousand visitors, record numbers and in continuous growth. "We are proud - he underlined - to be a national reference point for fans, companies and specialists in the hunting sector, but also an opportunity for pleasant entertainment for visitors, families and children".
The program counts approx 50 initiatives, including "fixed" events and absolute novelties. I am 350 exhibitors expected in more than 20 thousand square meters of space. The protagonist of this ninth edition will be the wild boar. It starts on Friday 10 May (15 pm) with the opening of the exhibition stands and the innovative course on safety in hunting wild boar in hunt (which has already collected many registrations from all over Italy), to try to increase the "internal or external" security of the hunted. The opening of the shooting lines available to the public, to test the hunting guns proposed by the exhibiting companies, including certainly the many novelties of the hunting market. The now usual appointments with Raniero Head, world champion and record holder of acrobatic shooting, testimonial Winchester, e David DeCarolis, Benelli testimonials, who will put on a show with their acrobatic performances.

NEWS and APPOINTMENTS. Particularly rich will be the cultural section of the Fair, which this year will focus on some highly topical issues. Ample space will be reserved for environmental protection and the fight against plastic, with the signing (Sunday 12 May) of a Memorandum on the environment by the Italian hunting associations, in the presence of Franco Zunino, general secretary of Wilderness Italia. Caccia Village will in fact be a national promoter of a modern and ecologically sensitive wildlife management, with hunters working in the field as "tutors of the environment" and more. While on Saturday 11 May the round table "Reflections on the theme of hunting ethics and the concept of hunting culture". Caccia Village will also host the most complete and important exhibition of hunting antiques, the National exchange exhibition of books, magazines, postcards, prints and wildlife-hunting crafts, organized by the Civic Museum of Jesolo. A space will be dedicated to Veterinary first aid: with the help of the experts of the Surgical Clinic of the Department of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Perugia, we will try to understand how to behave if, in a hunting situation, the dog manifests a problem, is attacked by a parasite or injured from a wild. The traditional and broad will then return market, which allows everyone, from adults to children, to find the item they always want and make it their own. Of course, even the dog lovers will find its important place, with the National gathering of track dog handlers (Saturday 11 May), which Caccia Village proposes again after the success of the last edition, with training and obedience demonstrations.
