The latest hunting news
Nicola Caputo, Councilor for Agriculture of the Campania Region, entrusted the latest updates regarding hunting in this area to a social media note, via his personal Facebook profile. The Campania hunting calendar has done more than discuss in the last few days, so some explanation was expected from one of the representatives of the De Luca council.
The opinions examined
Here's what the note says: “Following the meetings held with the various stakeholders in the sector and, having been able to acquire both from the regional legal profession and from the wildlife observatory itself, the opinions regarding a possible extension of the collection within the hunting calendar for the species: turdids and woodcock, it was possible to evaluate, together with all the forces in the field, that it is more appropriate to keep unchanged what was already foreseen in the hunting calendar for the current season".
The scientific data in possession
Caputo then added: “This has allowed us and will allow us to have greater determination for next year 23-24 in supporting the various scientific data brought to the table and which indicate the possibility of a change to the sampling times. Especially given that there is a pending judgment at the Campania Regional Administrative Court, the merits of which will be dealt with in April.".
