A further determination
The Department of Agriculture, Directorate-General for Agricultural, Food and Forestry Policies, UOD Hunting, Fishing and Aquaculture of the Campania Region has issued a further determination relating to the Regional hunting calendar 2024-2025.
Pre-opening and dates
This is the text: “It is hereby communicated that the Regional Council with Resolution no. 459 of 06.09.2024 has ordered the modification of the hunting calendar 2024/2025, as per Annex 1 of DGR no. 414 of 31.07.2024, establishing:
carry out pre-opening hunting on 7-8-11 September 2024 for the species Hooded Crow (Corvus corone cornix), Magpie (Pica pica), Eurasian Jay (Garrulus glandarius) and Wood Pigeon (Columba palumbus) in the form of stalking only;
allow ordinary hunting until 15 September 2024 and until 16 January 2025 for the wood pigeon species (Columba palumbus);
Limitations to remember
Furthermore, you have:
allow ordinary hunting until 21 September 2024 for the species Water Rail (Rallus aquaticus), Pheasant (Phasianus colchicus) and Quail (Coturnix coturnix);
limit hunting activity in the pSIC, SIC and ZPS areas by not allowing hunting on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays as they are hunting silence days, on the basis of the provisions of DD n. 565 of 4.12.2012 of the AGC 5 Ecology, environmental protection, pollution control, civil protection;
to confirm, in all other respects, everything established in the hunting calendar approved by Regional Council resolution no. 414 of 31 July 2024, except for the obligation to comply with any jurisdictional provisions that may be adopted.
