Hunting accident that took place on Sunday morning in the countryside of Castel Volturno, in the province of Caserta, where a man was involuntarily injured by a rifle shot by his friend during a hunting.
The wounded hunter is a 62 year old from Herculaneum and was run over by the pink of dots suffering from injuries to the neck and arm; the hunting companion is a 63-year-old native of Casapesenna who declared that he had not noticed the presence of his friend behind the bush and that he had mistaken the movement of the vegetation for the presence of a wild.
The injured man was then rescued by his friend and transported to the Pineta Grande clinic in Castel Volturno where he was hospitalized waiting to undergo surgery and is not in danger of life.
Both hunters were in good standing with licenses and authorizations to practice hunting. The Carabinieri of Castel Volturno investigate the matter and have reported in a state of freedom the hunter who shot to answer for the crime of negligent personal injury and have seized the rifle and ammunition.
