For the Italian Joint Forces Double Trap Championship, hosted aboard the Durand De La Penne fighter of the Italian Navy, Alessandro Chianese dominates the race.
At the Mar Grande Naval Station in Taranto it's time to party. After two days of intense competition, the Double Trap Italian Interforce Champion titles have finally been awarded. The event was hosted by the Fighter Durand De La Penne of the Italian Navy, which hosted the 54 candidates for the tricolor up for grabs. For the top series, the one that groups the shooters of the Excellence and Prima categories, to receive the medal and the scudetto from the hands of the Federal President Luciano Rossi and the Commander of the ship CV Ostillo De Majio was Alessandro Chianese. The young shooter from Casandrino (NA), who as an athlete of the Navy Sports Group can be said to play at home, had an edge over his opponents and with a total of 139/150 climbed to the top step of the podium leaving behind Valerio Vallifuoco of Rome, Army shooter, second with 133. In third place Adriano Avveduto of Modica, flag bearer of the Fire Brigade, with 128. Jacopo Duprè De Foresta di Montepulciano (SI) won the gold of the 8th Youth Sector Trophy, the best in the sector. His 99 points were enough to overtake Emanuele Buccolieri from San Pancrazio (BR), silver with 94, and Luigi De Milito from Mesagne (BR), bronze with 89. Among the exponents of the Women's Youth Sector the best performance was achieved Maria Lucia Palmitessa from Monopoli (BA), scoring an excellent 90/120.
Behind him the second and third place went, respectively, to Mara Pisanello from Gallipoli (LE) with 69 and to Francesca Rita Acquaviva from Taranto with 65. Romina Giansanti (Army) from Rome, instead won the 7th Ladies Trophy with a score of 78/120. As for the other categories and qualifications, the new Italian Joint Force Champions are Riccardo Rossi (Fiamme Oro) from Alatri (FR), first among the Second category with 126/150, Cosimo Damiano Abbondanza (Marina Militare) from Lizzano (TA), best of the Terza with 133/150, and Cosimo Prontera of Maglie (LE) among the shooters of the Staff on leave with 86/120.
The Italian Navy won the Italian flag. The trio formed by Alessandro Chianese, Ferdinando Rossi di Montefalco (PG) and Antonio Albano di Lizzano (TA) totaled 304/360, regulating the colleagues of the State Police, second with 283, and those of the Air Force, third with 279 .
