Ungulate carcasses
Il National Park of Cilento, Vallo di Diano and Alburni has published an expression of interest for the creation of a long list of economic operators (owners of Game Processing Centers or those affiliated with them) in possession of the requirements set out in current legislation, interested in purchasing carcasses of wild ungulates (wild boars) from selective control activities carried out within the Park territory with the assistance of its own selectors.
Managing the wild boar population
The goal is to limit damage to the ecosystems of the protected natural area, aiming to promote, with care and scientific rigor, a new management model that integrates the need to manage the growth of these ungulate populations with the promotion of sustainable local economic systems.
An always open long list
Applications for inclusion in the Long List will remain open from the date of publication of the public notice. Suspensions may be granted if the number of applications exceeds the number of animals to be sold as a result of inspections. Applications will be reopened when necessary.
