Constant growth
The first month of the year continues to push on the accelerator with the Winter Regional Championships, which continues to grow, weekend after weekend. The third event of the 2026 season saw a record number of participants, with 2.197 specialists on the platform at 24 different venues in 13 Italian regions. These figures paint a picture of a competitive movement that is active, present, and increasingly ready to meet the challenges that arise every day.
Passion stronger than the cold
Between Friday, January 16th and Sunday, January 18th, sports clubs welcomed Olympic Trap, Skeet, Compak Sporting, and Universal Trap shooters who, despite the falling winter temperatures, gritted their teeth in the name of their passion: a choral response that bodes well for upcoming regional events.
The regional podium
In the weekly ranking of the most attended regions, Lombardy tops the list for the third consecutive year, with 494 athletes participating in the competitions. Campania once again took silver, registering 257 athletes. Lazio rounded out the podium with 231 registered athletes (source: FITAV).
