Paladins of the Territory
Saturday 11 April Federcaccia Nucleus of Magenta, as Paladins of the Territory, a project supported by the UNA Foundation, enthusiastically participated in the "Clean Green Day" organized by the Municipality of Santo Stefano Ticino. Other volunteer associations, such as the Amici del Verde Association and the Gruppo Strade Pulite, also participated in the event. It was a splendid, well-attended, and lively morning: volunteers wearing orange hats and bibs; families, hunters, and citizens; dozens of bags filled, bulky waste collected from the woods and green spaces; an atmosphere of genuine collaboration.
A decisive intervention
A united, smiling, and hard-working group, they didn't hesitate to roll up their sleeves to restore dignity to our natural spaces. A huge amount of waste was collected, including large volumes and large environmental impacts, freeing up green spaces that had long awaited decisive action. Under the gazebos, thanks to the organizers' support, there were plenty of moments of conviviality, refreshment, and sharing: because caring for the environment is also a way to strengthen community.
Green is for everyone
Today we made a difference. Together. A sincere thank you to all the volunteers, members, friends, and the City Council who made this day possible. Defenders of the Territory, always. Because greenery belongs to everyone, and we all have a duty to protect it (source: Federcaccia).
