Approval in Environment Committee to the Chamber of the text that contains the changes to the Framework Law on Protected Areas not at all convinced CONFAVE, the Confederation of Italian Hunting Associations. The national president, Maria Cristina Caretta, in fact, commented on the next passage to the Chamber of Deputies and then to the Senate of the Republic for final approval, explaining how the Law 394 of 1991 has been significantly worsened.
In particular, the association considers it odd that the Government has decided to allocate 30 million euro moreover, for the financing of the park authorities, defined in no uncertain terms as “poltronifici”, while it would be appropriate at this time to think more about families in economic crisis. The executive's initiative was also judged "Liberticida", as it is only useful to subtract other territory from historical activities such as hunting, fishing and agriculture.
CONFAVI's invitation to all hunting associations, to agricultural organizations and realities active in rural culture is to rise up with disdain, given that there is still time to block what is a real destruction of democracy. In fact, President Caretta concluded his official note with an even more peremptory appeal: "Let us rebel and let our cry of protest be heard loud!".
