Operational meeting
Last week, a meeting was held in the Veneto Region involving Agriculture Councilor Dario Bondi, the area's land reclamation consortia, and ANBI Veneto to discuss coypu control . In particular, there was extensive discussion of the new solution that will be used to manage requests for intervention. It's a promising IT platform, but will it deliver?
How the platform works
The system was designed to integrate every stage of the application process, from farmers' notifications to the provincial police officers' assessment, all the way to the final reporting. Access will be via SPID (Italian Public System for Identity and Identity Documents) or an electronic ID card, or alternatively, ad hoc credentials will be provided. The main advantage appears to be the speed of implementation.
Bond's words
Response times should occur within a standard timeframe of between 24 and 48 hours, therefore very quickly, as underlined by Councilor Bond himself: " We are building a modern and efficient organizational model that allows for rapid intervention and transparent procedures, thanks to a digital platform shared by all the parties involved ."
