Question in Council
“The hunting trip of the son of Donald Trump in a protected area I consider it as a bullying attack by someone who believes they can buy anything". This was declared by regional councilor Arturo Lorenzoni (opposition spokesperson) supporting "his colleague Andrea Zanoni, who has announced a complaint to the Judiciary".
Action to be condemned
“The rules must apply to everyone,” the Spokesperson clarifies. “If anyone else had done it, and not Trump’s son, it would have been an action to be condemned equally. Now, rightly, he will be held accountable to the appropriate authorities.”
Protected place
“Hunting in the lagoon, breaking the laws in force, in a place that by definition is protected, and then putting the video on the web, means not having the slightest respect for the fragility of that particular environment – Lorenzoni points out – An arrogant attitude, his, and Zanoni did well to lift the veil on a fact that was like a slap in the face to our lands, which must be safeguarded at all costs” (source: Regional Council of Veneto).
