A crusade against hunting
His passion for animals had underlined it in one of his main singing successes: who hasn't hummed "the cobra is not a snake" on the notes of the song by Donatella Rettore? Now the artist's concerts have turned into something more like one animal rights crusade and that does not spare the hunting activity. The testimony took place a few days ago in Abruzzo.
Greetings from the Rector
The Rector was performing in Lanciano (province of Chieti), when she greeted "The animal friend and my friend for many years, Walter Caporale, President of the Italian Animalists who fights in defense of animals and against hunting. Please don't shoot the animals. Thank you Walter for what you have been doing for so many years".
The response of animal rights activists
The President of the Italian Animal Rights, Walter Caporale, returns the greetings and thanks: "I thank Donatella Rettore because through music she unites people and moves collective consciences by launching important messages such as, precisely, the abolition of hunting. In view of the upcoming elections, let's vote with our heads and hearts, trying to be represented by a political alignment that truly protects everyone's rights, especially the most fragile and defenseless like animals".
