Three modules
Given the enthusiasm and satisfaction of participants in recent editions, the Italian Kennel Club (ENCI), in collaboration with the National Association of Italian Veterinarians (ANMVI), has decided to reintroduce the Breeder Masters for the eleventh time . This annual event is eagerly awaited by breeders, enabling them to deepen, improve, and update their knowledge of canine breeding. The Masters, divided into three modules of four half-mornings each, accessible remotely, will address specific and current topics that will contribute to fostering zootechnical skills related to purebred dog breeding.
What will we talk about
The first training module, taking place on September 15-16 and 22-23, will address reproduction and the importance of the stud book. The second module (November 24-25 and December 1-2) will cover topics related to pediatrics and growth disorders, as well as genetic selection, hereditary diseases, and health. The third and final module (January 26-27 and February 2-3, 2027) will address the professional management of dog breeding, also exploring behavior, education, and training.
Diploma and certification
Attendance at each training module is independent of participation in the other modules and will be certified by a diploma signed by the Presidents of ENCI and ANMVI. Breeders who complete the entire course will earn the Master Breeder certificate and will be entitled to a mention in the online studbook. Furthermore, those who participated in previous training courses but did not complete them will be able to attend the missing modules this year. Mandatory requirements for participation in the Master are signing the Dog Breeders' Code of Ethics (sent to [email protected] ) and possessing a valid email address.
