Who filed the appeal
The Regional Administrative Court for Emilia Romagna (Second Section) has ruled with an order rejecting the appeal against the regional hunting calendar presented by the League for the Abolition of Hunting, Wwf Italia Ets, Lipu Italian League for the Protection of Birds, Lndc Animal Protection and Lav Anti-Vivisection League, against the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forests, not appearing in court, and the Emilia Romagna Region and with the intervention ad opponendum of the Italian Hunting Federation, Federcaccia Emilia Romagna, and Ab – Agrivenatoria Biodiversitalia.
Insufficient motivations
The TAR in fact considered the reasons put forward by the appellants to be insufficient and, on the contrary, the provisions contained in the Regional Hunting Calendar of Emilia Romagna to be well-motivated and supported.
Telemetry data
It is worth highlighting the explicit reference in support of the decision to reject the appeal to the studies attached to the Regional Resolution, including - those based on telemetry for example, but not only - many carried out by the Federcaccia Studies and Research Office, confirming once again the importance of having data and scientific elements to support one's requests (source: FIDC).
