4-10 November
The European Federation for Hunting and Conservation (FACE), in collaboration with its members across Europe, is pleased to announce the launch of the European Game Meat Week, running from 4 to 10 November 2024. This campaign is dedicated to raising awareness of the benefits of game meat, offering engaging stories, delicious recipes and inspiring facts that trace its journey from farm to fork. Throughout the campaign, European Game Meat Week will showcase the health, environmental and cultural benefits of game meat through a dynamic social media campaign.
Hunters and food lovers
FACE and its members are committed to promoting game meat as a sustainable food choice. The European Week aims to connect hunters and food lovers, encouraging a wider understanding and appreciation of game meat as a natural food source, all while celebrating its rich flavours.
The benefits of withdrawals
“Sustainable hunting benefits nature, people, local economies and provides healthy food. European Game Meat Week highlights the positive role of hunting in the conservation and management of wildlife populations, as well as the opportunity it provides to share the benefits of harvests with others,” said Laurens Hoedemaker, President of FACE. The ANUU is calling on all hunters and supporters to join the campaign by sharing game meat content on social media using the hashtag #GameMeatWeek.
