A great loot
Italy of Universal Trench closed the 2023 European Championship with 13 medals, six gold with their respective Titles, five silver and two bronze, equaling the booty of the 2022 edition. the gold medal went to the French Fabien Couvidat, first on the podium with 197/200 +25, followed with the silver by our Alessandro Camisotti from Porto Viro (RO), second with 197/200 +24. Third was the Spanish Gonzalo Santos Camacho with 196/200 +25. Camisotti returned to the podium for the team gold medal together with Stefano Narducci from Altopascio (LU) and Vincenzo Triscari from Naso (ME). The Azzurri climbed to the top of the podium with a total of 581/600. Moving on to the Ladies classification, Bianca Revello di Bernezzo (CN) deserved the gold and the individual title with a score of 182/200. Also for her the double medal, in this case the team silver with the total of 528/600 achieved together with Rachele Amighetti from Costa Volpino (BG) and Silvia Munno from Luzzi (CS). Only the French are better than them with a total of 535.
The various categories
Among the Juniors, the best on the platform was the blue Andrea Diana from Frosinone who put all his opponents in line with 191/200, graduating as European Champion. In the team classification Diana in collaboration with Diego Martelli from Lamporecchio (PT) and Matteo Vecchiarelli from Rome scored 548/600 which gave him the silver medal behind his French opponents, first with 552/600. For the Senior classification, the British Rod Gould deserved the title and gold with 196/200, closely followed by our Pietro Zecchi from Pioltello (MI), silver medal with 194/200. Zecchi, in the company of Graziano Borlini from Ardesio (BG) and Luciano Fiorini Carbognin from Montecchia di Crosara (VR), made up for his opponents by hitting the gold and the Team Title with a total of 567/600. Two medals centered by the blue veterans Livio Elli from Nova Milanese (MI) and Angelo Bueno Pernica from Rome, respectively silver with 190/200 +19 and bronze with 185/200. Elli and Bueno Pernica returned to the podium with Giulio Grondona of Genoa for the team gold medal with a total of 547/600.

Finally, the last laurel of the Italian coffer was the one conquered by Calogero Gibiino of Catania among the Masters with a total of 179/200.
