Migratory hunting and live decoys
Migratory hunting enthusiasts who own live decoys, whether they are holders of fixed or temporary stakes, must reconstitute the Database of live recalls, inserting the numbers divided by species of the decoys held. This task, which follows a few years after the abolition of the previous database, arises from the fact that the regional administration wants to know the extent of the assets of live decoys of Lombard hunters in order to prepare a new ring, which must therefore be commissioned from the manufacturing companies, which will be the only one that will have to be used to be able to use them for hunting. Unfortunately, the previous program for data entry, now in common use and easy to use, has been replaced with a newly created one which the hunter can access using his Spid, the digital identity of the Public Administration.
The use of Spid
And here the pain begins. Because if it is true that we must all become citizens and therefore technological hunters, many people, including the writer, find it difficult to access the new system, as happened with the previous database. In this case, however, Federcaccia required numerous passwords to access, creating on the territory of the entire province a network with many support points for hunters. Today this seems not to be possible and the only way would be to use the personal spid of the various local Federcaccia managers, who however would become personally responsible, having used their own digital identity, for every data entered. As Federcaccia we are checking whether there are other ways to provide alternative support to our members who, like millions of other citizens, struggle to adapt to these new logics. Logics that vast areas of the Public Administration today ignore themselves, condemning citizens to the usual Byzantine vicissitudes to obtain licenses, authorizations and so on. We would have liked, given that Milan often requests our collaboration for certain operations, such as the collection of badges or the planned distribution of future rings, for the possibility of giving hunting associations access to the new system to be studied by those responsible. of the Database. Also in this case we believe that the right attention was lacking.
Rights to be re-established
We know that the Lombardy Region is preparing the text of the draft Hunting Calendar for the 2024/2025 season to be sent to Ispra. It is normally sent in March. The novelty this year, the result of some changes to national law 157/92, is that the draft calendar will also have to be evaluated by the National Wildlife Technical Committee which includes a varied team of representatives of all the social and institutional parties involved . This step could be important to overcome the ideological drift put in place for years by Ispra through opinions that are anything but based on technical statements. We would also like politics, or at least those exponents who benefited from the hunters' vote, to have prepared the ground, as they say, at the Ministry of the Environment to have greater seriousness on the part of Ispra when it has to evaluate the Calendar Lombard. We are certainly boring to continually repeat this request but this year the Brescian migrants saw their hunting season end on January 10th when we have a national law that talks about January 31st. Furthermore, in some regions, for example Liguria, the harvesting of turdid fish ended on January 31st. We will certainly be boring but we will never stop until our rights are restored.
