Area of respect
A story followed closely by Federcaccia Lombardy, in defense of the hut workers who carry out their activity in the buffer area around the Valpredina Oasis, managed by the WWF in the province of Bergamo. A story that began more than a year ago, when Federcaccia took to the field to support 4 hut workers who had started the procedures for renewing the stakeout by having to undergo the Vinca, being in the buffer zone around the Oasis.
Favorable conclusion
Thanks to the technical and legal support of Federcaccia Lombardia and the efficiency of the Orobie Park, which has the competence and power to carry out the Vinca as a public body, as established by the Lombardy Region, a favorable conclusion was reached and without going to compromises for fixed stakeouts. The Region authorized the stakeouts. At the beginning of the year, the WWF presented an extraordinary appeal to the head of state contesting the actions of the Orobie Park.
Precautionary request
FIdC guaranteed legal protection to the 4 hunters (which in the meantime became 3 due to the withdrawal of one), convinced of the validity of the activity carried out. And how did it go at the Brescia Regional Administrative Court? The precautionary request of the animal rights association was rejected, condemned to pay the costs of the precautionary phase.
