The next round of elections
In view of the regional elections on 12 and 13 October, Federcaccia Toscana-UCT The Association has renewed its commitment to representing the interests of the Tuscan hunting community with integrity, balance, and competence, promoting constructive dialogue with the candidates and political forces competing in the upcoming elections. The Association, under the coordination of Regional President Marco Salvadori, has conducted intensive institutional relations throughout the region, aimed at informing the candidates of the priorities of Tuscan hunting and promoting a dialogue based on facts, experiences, and shared responsibilities.
The value of hunting
In each province, thanks to the commitment of the Association's provincial presidents, numerous meetings have been held with Regional Council candidates to illustrate the social, environmental, and cultural value of hunting, as well as the fundamental role of hunters in land management and biodiversity protection. The objective of this process is clear: to ensure that the voice of Tuscan hunters is heard and represented, with concrete proposals on issues such as: the final approval of the new Regional Wildlife and Hunting Plan, the revitalization of wildlife and hunting management, a new project with mono-agriculture, the defense of Tuscan hunters' rights, starting with hunting calendars, and the request for more resources for the sector by strengthening the principle of subsidiarity.
