Participation and importance
During the last weekend, respectively in the Provinces of Grosseto and Pisa, the last two days dedicated to the Provincial selections of the Regional Championship on Hare of the Tuscan Federcaccia UCT. Two days full of participation and enthusiasm which were sold out, for a growing event, which this year too stands out as the first in terms of participation and importance at a regional level, among the trials dedicated to this splendid wild animal. The Regional President of Federcaccia Toscana UCT Marco Salvadori also congratulated the two groups organizing the trials in Grosseto and Pisa, led respectively by Stefano Leoni and Carmine Grella, who, assisted by their collaborators and by all the dog technical staff of the Association, guaranteed this important result.
The winners
Triumphing for the Grosseto test - in their respective categories - were:
Best subject Greta 165 ecc and winner of the Uriano Poli Trophy,
Best Single to Mr. Giuliano Tonelli;
Best couple to Mr. Feri Iginio;
In Pisa instead they won:
The Second City of Pisa trophy. first overall cat. Individuals, Mr. Repenti Domenico with the dog named Punto with voucher 148;
The first absolute couple conductor Mr. Salvatore Rossano with Nandina 2 and Nandino owner Mr. Signorini Graziano with excellent 162;
The best pack of the event, first ever Mr. Buzzichelli Umberto with the dogs Lord, Zorro, Tom and Brico Excellent 164;
The Best Dog of the Lord event by Mr. Buzzichelli Umberto with Excellent 167;
The youngest dog of the event with Excellent 173 Tom is Mr. Buzzichelli Umberto;
The next date
The appointment is now for March 16th and 17th in Pescina Seggiano (Gr) for the Semifinals and the Regional Final which will decide the new champions for this year. Finally, we would like to remind all fans that this week the Semi-finals and the National Final of the Italian Cup on Lepre Federcaccia will be held in Tuscany. A prestigious national level event, which enriches an already dense dog-sports program, in which competitors from numerous Italian regions will participate, and at the end of which the titles of Italian Federcaccia champions for the specialty will be awarded (The FIdc Secretariat- UCT).
