Last weekend
When it comes to Compak Sporting, Tav Foligno is unmatched. Proof of this are the results of the 2025 Italian Cup and Champions Cup, which took place last weekend on the Lazio stages of Tav Macallè in Priverno (LT). The Frasca family facility provided the perfect venue for the 69 teams competing for the coveted trophies.
The results
Among the 26 teams competing for the Italian Cup was the trio from Tav Foligno, led by President Nadia Guazzarotto. Simone Berti, Emanuele Vescarelli, and Moreno Cola completed the regulation throws with a score of 275/300, tied with the home team of Tav Macallè, Marco Lambiasi, Gianluca Sicignano, and Roberto Centra. To lift the Cup, they had to return to the arena for a tiebreaker series. Again, the difference between the two teams was minimal, but with scores of 67/75 to 66/75, the Umbrians deserved the top spot on the podium, forcing their opponents to second place. On the third step of the podium were the standard-bearers of the Tav Campo Castiello of Afragola (NA) of President Luigi Castiello, who for the occasion called upon Massimiliano Riccardi, Giulio Rosati and Antonio Donatello, with a total of 260/300.

Moving on to the Champions Cup competition, which featured 46 teams, Tav Foligno returned to the top of the podium, this time with Daniele Valeri, Alberto Cardinali, and Pasquale Rea, who scored 283/300. Six points behind with a score of 277/300, the silver medal went to the Tav Sonnino (LT) team led by President Giovanni Di Girolamo, represented by Danilo Feudo, Agostino Di Girolamo, and Fernando D'Onofrio. Third place on the podium, after a thrilling playoff, went to the Polisportiva CLT Terni team from Narni (TR), led by President Giovanni Scorso. Samuele Sacripanti, Daniele Maffei and Federico Sabatini, after having completed the regulation throws with a score of 271/300, beat the Tav Macallè trio composed of Simone Consolini, Stefano Catena and Francesco Molinaro in the play-off with 71/75 to 66/75, forcing them to fourth place overall (source: FITAV).
