The Regional Wildlife Committee, which met in Udine and chaired by the Regional Councilor for Local Autonomies, Hunting and Fish Resources, Paolo Panontin, approved the limitations to hunting on Alpine galliformes.
In particular, it approved the reduction of the period of black grouse hunting, also limiting the number of hunting trips.
The opening of hunting for this species will in fact be postponed to 11 October; while the closing will be brought forward to November 9th. Furthermore, the black grouse will be hunted during this period, but only for six days.
