Parma Fairs
THEHistoric Olympic gold for Italian Biathlon It will also be celebrated at the EOS European Outdoor Show '26, from March 28th to 30th at Fiere di Parma. Fiocchi's Italian-made technology contributed to Lisa Vittozzi's victory at the Milan-Cortina Olympics; the same was true for the mixed relay silver medal a few days earlier, thanks again to Vittozzi, Dorothea Wierer, Tommaso Giacomel, and Lukas Hofer. Fiocchi, which will also celebrate its 150th anniversary in Parma, is a long-standing technical partner of the Italian Winter Sports Federation. "Lisa's gold medal was masterful, a source of great pride," the Lecco-based company reports. "The determination and commitment of Lisa and the entire team are an inspiration to us all."
Italian producers
Lisa Vittozzi is just the latest medal won by Italian manufacturers in the sector. Italy is a nation of shooters, and the weapons and ammunition used by athletes from every continent to win Olympic, world, and continental medals are Italian. Many Italian shooters won medals at Paris 2024, and they are all expected at the EOS show in Parma: Diana Bacosi and Gabriele Rossetti, gold in Mixed Skeet, Silvana Stanco, silver in Trap, Federico Nilo Maldini and Paolo Monna, silver and bronze in P10, and Davide Franceschetti, bronze in P4 in the .22 SH1 caliber Free Pistol. Sport shooting, a noble art like fencing and boxing, is a practice rooted in Europe and Italy, where technology plays a decisive role. Suffice it to say that the athletes who used Italian over-and-under shotguns in clay shooting at Paris 2024 won 18 out of 18 medals, while Italian cartridges recorded 14 victories out of 18. Even in the shooting finals, Italian manufacturers confirmed their technical and manufacturing leadership.
Demonstration area
The EOS Show showcases the entire sport shooting and hunting industry, with a large outdoor demonstration area, in full compliance not only with regulations but also with the Code of Ethics shared by civic and non-violent associations. At the show, visitors will find equipment, gear, and apparel for nature observation, birdwatching, orienteering, and trekking. No weapons of war, military equipment, or vehicles are on display, nor are companies from countries at war exhibiting. Visitors will be able to experience the hunting and sporting disciplines that are part of our finest tradition, including through the participating federations: the Italian Clay Pigeon Shooting Federation (FITAV), the Italian Shooting Union (UITS), the Italian Federation of Hunting Weapons Disciplines (FIDASC), and the Italian Dynamic Sports Shooting Federation (FITDS). Finally, ample space will be dedicated to cuisine and gastronomy, building on the historic expertise of Cibus, the leading trade fair dedicated to Italian agri-food, held at Fiere di Parma since 1985 (source: EOS).
