Keyboard lions
Through your social profiles, Giulia Sottoriva, head of CONFAVI (Confederation of Italian Hunting Associations), wanted to respond to the well-known (and sadly) keyboard warriors. A phenomenon that has unfortunately become widespread since the advent of social media, a veritable plague.
Great regret
These are his words: "They're all pacifists, and then all it takes is a keyboard and a screen to write the worst insults against people who think differently from them. People who wish death, who rejoice when accidents happen, or even hope for them to happen. The truth? I feel very sorry for them. Their useless insults or their threats, born out of the great frustration they experience, certainly won't prevent us from expressing our thoughts.".

Last June, Sottoriva himself had responded in a masterly manner to a series of defamatory insults he had received. In that case, this was his prompt response: "The world is beautiful because it is varied, starting from the assumption that all opinions deserve respect, even those that are not shared. Those who preach peace should also be able to practice it. To these individuals whose level of intelligence speaks for itself, I reiterate that I am proudly a hunter, a Serie A citizen with a perfectly clean criminal record. I would be curious to see if those who criticize me can boast of such characteristics".
