Lots of representatives
The Ministry of the Environment has made public the names included in the Management Committee and the Consultation Table of the National Biodiversity Strategy 2030. An “Institutional” Management Committee formed by representatives of the Government and Regions is supported by a Consultation Table in which an infinite series of representatives of the most varied categories have been nominated: Animal-environmentalists, Farmers, Traders, Artisans, Industrialists, Cooperatives, Traders.
No to hunting
In short, everyone except hunters. No representative of the Hunting World will sit among the stakeholders who will be consulted on matters of environmental and biodiversity conservation. As if our category did not have a primary interest in the governance of processes that, hopefully, will lead to an improvement in the quality of the environment and an increase in biodiversity. The hunter is an environmental manager, who carries out his activity in symbiosis with nature, improving and conserving it, in order to be able to collect interest without affecting the wildlife capital.
Chit chat and badge
How can we think of not involving him, not exploiting the wealth of experience and passion of the volunteers? Where are, now, those who praised the "Government friend”? How do they justify this umpteenth slap? Fortunately, we have remained consistent and balanced, judging actions more than proclamations and propaganda and, at the moment, when all is said and done, the balance seems truly miserable. As always, when it comes to hunting, this executive proves to be “just talk and a badge”. For this reason, we ask the Minister of the Environment to remedy this terrible decision, we, as always, are available to give our contribution (source: Arci Caccia).
