Over the past weekend, on the platforms of the Tav Sezze (LT), Compak Sporting celebrated the 2026 season 1st Small Caliber Grand PrixA very special event, always highly appreciated by specialists in the discipline, who compete in the 20-, 28-, and .410-gauge events. Below is a complete list of medal winners. Eighteen 20-gauge competitors competed for medals. In the Eccellenza category, top honors went to CT Veniero Spada of Fabro (PG) with a score of 93/100, followed by Simone Consolini of Anagni (FR), who earned a silver medal with a score of 92/100. Among the Juniors, the gold medal went to Alessandro Buglione of Latina with a score of 63/100.
The rankings
In the First Category, Umberto Buglione of Latina won with a score of 89/100, followed by Andrea Palmieri of Torrice (FR) with a score of 88/100, and Diego Bedin of Latina with a score of 87/100. In the Second Category, Simone Berti of Sezze (LT) took first place with a score of 97/100, the highest score in the overall ranking. He was joined on the podium by Bruno Bobba of Arce (FR), who took silver with a score of 88/100, and Alessandro Battisti of Latina, who took bronze with a score of 79/100. In the Third Category, Bruno Mattiuzzo of Latina took home the gold medal with a score of 82/100, followed by Alessandro Visentini of Latina, who placed second with a score of 74/100, and Biagio De Bonis of Fondi (LT), who took third with a score of 73/100.

Among the Seniors, the best result was scored by Giorgio Ceretta of Ventotene (LT) with 90/100, while in the combined Veterans and Masters classification, Roberto Fusti of Latina stood out, taking gold with 83/100, with Baldassare Terranova of Ardea (RM) in second place with 63/100. In the 28-gauge category, 42 specialists competed for the victory. Michele Turini of Calcinaia (PI) took top honors in the Excellence category with 72/75, while Pietro Russo of Pignataro Maggiore (CE) placed second with 70/75, and Emiliano De Carolis of Terracina (LT) took third with 67/75.
First category
In the First Category, Umberto Buglione once again topped the podium with a near-perfect score of 74/75. He was followed by Michele Burroni of Civitella in Val di Chiana (AR) in second place with 72/100, and Diego Bedin in bronze with 68/75. The Second Category saw the triumph of Alessandro Battisti of Latina, who took gold with 74/75, the highest score of the day along with Buglione. Manuel Piccoli of Torri di Quartesolo (VI) took silver with 69/75, while Federico Antonetti of Pontinia (LT) took third with 68/75+2. In the Third Category, Fabio Polese of Treviso took first place with 67/75, while Bruno Mattiuzzo of Latina took silver with 66/75+2, winning a play-off with Riccardo Porcelli of Latina in third place with 66/75+1. There was also a playoff at the top of the Senior division, with Marco Morea of Latina securing the gold medal with a score of 73/75+2, edging Marco Greco of Sezze (LT) to second place with a score of 73/75+1. Massimo Foletto of Aprilia (LT) took bronze with a score of 71/75. Nicola Zitiello of Sparanise (CE) won the Veteran and Master divisions with a score of 64/75, followed by Antonio Ballarotta of Arezzo, second with a score of 62/75, and Claudio Rapone of Sezze (LT), third with a score of 60/75.
410 caliber
In the 410-gauge competition, which saw 44 shooters compete, the Excellence gold medal was won by Michele Turini, topping the podium for the second time with 70/75. The remaining category medals went to Emiliano De Carolis, second with 69/75, and Emiliano Tazioli of Quarrata (PT), third with 66/75. In the First Category, victory went to Diego Attardo of Spigno Saturnia (LT) with 70/75, while Diego Bedin took silver with 69/75+2, triumphing after a shoot-off with Michele Burroni, third with 69/75+0. In the Second Category, Federico Antonetti earned victory with 72/75, the best overall score, leaving behind Alessandro Surpoli of Velletri (RM) in silver with 71/75, and Davide Astemio of Latina in bronze with 67/75. In the Third Category, the best result was that of Marco Bordignon of Latina, first with 67/75, followed by Alessandro Onori of Montelibretti (RM) with 66/75, and third place for Fabio Polese with 67/75. Among the Seniors, Diego Riccio of Cellole (CE) won with 71/75, ahead of Giorgio Ceretta of Ventotene (LT), silver with 70/75, and Marco Morea, bronze with 67/75. Among the Veterans and Masters, Roberto Fusti of Latina prevailed with 69/75.
