A new sentence linked to the release of the hunting license It's served. The Umbria Regional Administrative Court has decided not to restore the gun license of a hunter who, in 2022, reached the shutter of a house after firing a shot during a wild boar hunt.
The investigations
The events occurred near Spoleto, and the TAR judges were asked to hear the man's appeal, which sought to overturn the Prefecture's decision. The hunter's statements were the reason for the refusal. Indeed, although no one was injured, an investigation had been launched to determine who was responsible for the act.
Oblation and fine
The man, who was also the team leader, had been able to take advantage of the fine, thus eliminating the crime after paying a fine, but according to the Prefecture, the time that had passed since the incident did not yet allow him to return to hunting.
