Initiative more than appreciated
With a beautiful and appreciated initiative, the Verona Provincial Hunting Federation and the Caprino Veronese Section celebrated the 75th anniversary of the license of member Alessandro Zanetti, a passionate pointer enthusiast who is still active and has always been part of the great Federcaccia family.
The delivery and the letter
In the presence of the entire Provincial Council of Verona and the Caprino section, Provincial President Alessandro Salvelli presented his friend Alessandro with a commemorative plaque, accompanied by a letter from National President Massimo Buconi.
Heartfelt words
"I would like to offer you, personally and on behalf of the entire National Hunting Federation, my warmest congratulations and compliments on reaching the coveted milestone of your 75 years of license and membership in our Association," wrote the National President, among other things. "I say this with the utmost and sincere admiration, as well as a hint of envy for those who, like you, have lived the golden years of hunting, being able to exercise our splendid passion from a young age and still actively today, furthermore with the help of those wonderful hunting companions that are pointers. Federcaccia and all hunters look to you and those like you who have spent your entire life, from the age of 16, being able to cross our woods and our mountains, rifle on shoulder, as an example to follow. As an adage I love to repeat goes, 'The young hunter walks faster than the older hunter, but it is the older one who knows the way...'. Here, along that road that you and the others of your generation know and have shown us. indicated, we extend our full gratitude to you, confident that we will have you as our guide for many, many years to come." A heartfelt toast concluded the simple but heartfelt occasion on a joyful note (source: Federcaccia).
