A very respectable haul
Before the curtain finally falls on the HDH-IAA world championship trip to Moosburg, Austria, a standing ovation is a must for all the participants. There are so many, in fact 60 Italians competing between National team and extra Selection and the haul of medals won really speaks for itself. The National Team composed of 18 FIDASC archers brought 6 golds, 2 silvers and 4 bronzes to Italy. Consider that in 2022, in the same world competition, the medals won were 3 golds, 2 silvers, and 2 bronzes. The extra National team, which lined up 42 archers, brought back to Italy 7 golds and 5 silvers (in 2022 instead 4 golds, 1 silver and 1 bronze).
The pride of FIDASC
The results were nothing short of stratospheric, so much so that the President of the International Federation HDH-IAA extended his heartfelt compliments to FIDASC, which performed so well and stood out among the over 870 contenders present at the event. FIDASC cannot but be proud and President Felice Buglione has already expressed his utmost appreciation for the results obtained, as has the National Commission of the discipline which partly managed the tiring trip personally through its Coordinator Paolo Rossi, Lorenzo Tondi and the international representative at HDH-IAA Massimiliano Pagliai and, remotely, by Leonardo Mazzaferri for the logistical coordination.
The numbers speak for themselves
"The numbers therefore speak for themselves and are unequivocal - the National Commission commented on the Austrian trip - It would be more complex to explain the beautiful and positive atmosphere that permeated the trip of our archers. Enthusiasm, cohesion, mutual support, but also concentration, self-discipline, all permeated by the fun and joy that occasions like these instill in archers. A big thank you therefore to all our archers, starting with our representatives of the official Team who, we recall, were selected on June 16 in Valsamoggia to defend our colors, extending it to all the enthusiasts who wanted to honor the international event".
