An important success
The third edition of the event concluded with great participation. “On the Hunt for Shots”, the national photography competition promoted by Federcaccia, with the exceptional partner Pietro Beretta Arms Factory, to showcase, through images, the relationship between man, nature, rural culture, and the world of hunting. This year, the competition was once again a resounding success, confirming the growing interest in a medium—photography—that can directly, emotionally, and authentically narrate life in the outdoors, land management, biodiversity, and the traditions that connect hunting communities to the Italian landscape.
A complex job
The hundreds of photographs submitted from across Italy offered diverse and original visions: from naturalistic details to moments of connection between man and the environment, to the ancient gestures of responsible hunting. A collective narrative, rich in sensitivity and expertise, which made the jury's work particularly challenging. As in previous editions, the finalist photographs will be published in the Federcaccia 2026 Calendar, confirming the competition as a highly anticipated event for photographers, hunters, and nature enthusiasts. Making this edition even more significant was the doubling of the prize pool, thanks to the support of partner Beretta, and the introduction of the Special Under 30 Award, dedicated to young talents who choose to portray the world of hunting with a fresh perspective.
