Response to the anti-hunting
Following the publication of a balanced article by Giorgio Dell'Orefice on www.ilsole24ore.com on the eve of the opening of the new hunting season, the President of Federcaccia Massimo Buconi He responded to the row over the nonexistent hunting deregulation feared by anti-hunting groups: "In Italy, hunting continues to be—rightly—heavily regulated. We continue to have the most stringent regulations in Europe. To hunt, a medical examination by your family doctor is required, followed by a medical examiner, a local health authority (ASL), or the military. These examinations must be performed regularly. You must then pass a hunting exam and obtain a qualification from a shooting range for the use and handling of weapons. You must also submit an application to the Police Headquarters, which verifies all legal requirements, to obtain a gun license."
The Natura 2000 network sites
"Let's not forget that hunting can only be done in designated areas; it's actually prohibited in protected areas: parks, sanctuaries, and repopulation zones. Then there are the Natura 2000 network sites and the SPAs, special protection areas, where there are no bans, just restrictions. And then there are private hunting establishments where you need a license from the concessionaire to operate. And these areas often coincide with farms. None of this changes a bit. In short, we're not in the US, where you can just go to the gun shop with your ID and buy a gun."
Amendments to Law 157 of 1992
And regarding the controversy surrounding the amendments to the current Law 157/92, he added: "Some important changes were already introduced with the latest Budget Law, which provided for some flexibility in addition to the provision of the extraordinary wildlife management plan. The concept was introduced according to which wildlife control is no longer subject to hunting regulations but is an activity carried out in the public interest... in the face of emergencies such as the proliferation of wild boars, the primary vector of African swine fever, hunters are often not enough to carry out effective management."

I just want to bring to the attention of those who are already aware. If today is the first day of hunting silence with an enormous number of art.37 after 1 day of hunting without firing a shot, you should see the provincial police with the intention of shooting pigeons. In my way of seeing things it seems shameful to me. I leave the comments to those who want to make them.
