The subject of the discussion
During today's session, Wednesday, December 3, in the Chamber of Deputies, the continuation of the discussion of the bill: Delegation to the Government for the transposition of European directives and the implementation of other acts of the European Union – European Delegation Law 2025. (C. 2574-A) was on the agenda.
A delicate subject
During the discussion, the Honourable Member Francesco Bruzzone He spoke to draw the House's attention to the issue of wolves and the increasingly pressing need for a management approach to their growing presence in the region.
Proximity to breeders
These are some of his words: “For some, the presence of wolves isn't a problem. It's hard to accept this statement; aside from Sicily and Sardinia, you only need to travel anywhere in our country to see it. I want to express my sympathy to breeders, but also to pet owners who no longer have their four-legged friends because of this predator, whose numbers aren't declining. It's not about indiscriminate culling, but about managing them.".
